As an experienced family practitioner I appreciate that those people who experience problems of whatever nature in this area can be in a very difficult and vulnerable position.
I see my role to be that of a lawyer committed to explaining the options and giving my clients the space and freedom to make an informed decision which may affect the rest of their lives.
Over the years I have mediated, negotiated and taken case to court and to appeal. Many of these cases have involved serious allegations or issues of great financial consequence to one or both parties.
If possible I see it as important to explain what can or can not be achieved in any given situation and to encourage my clients to focus on the long term rather than the immediate perceived difficulty.
If my instructing client has already reached agreement and simply wants help to implement an agreement I am happy to take instructions on that basis.
I would welcome instructions and the opportunity to help in potentially challenging times in the following areas:-
1 Divorce both in taking proceedings or responding to actual or envisaged proceedings.
2 Financial consequences pre/post nuptial, agreements, mediation and proceedings. To include interim awards and all relevant applications.
3 Children’s proceedings of whatever nature including proceedings brought by grandparents.
4 Domestic Violence and occupation.
5 Maintenance issues including enforcement or variation.
6 Discovery of assets here or abroad.
7 Right as between unmarried couples in relation to property.
Whether or not my client is a high net worth individual with complex finances or is in a situation where assets are at a premium I am here to help.
It is often preferable to agree matters or at least all those matters where there is common ground but if does not prove to be possible I have extensive court experience to bring to bear.
